Achieving a Sustainable Transformation of Europe from the Ground up
Patrizia Nanz, Director of the Forum for the Franco-German Future, and Sébastien Treyer, Director General of IDDRI, analyze the effects of the Covid crisis on the social, economic and political transformations at work in the fight against global warming. In this interview, both make recommendations for their operationalization. In particular, they encourage a change of model in the areas of mobility, food, and employment, the inclusion of citizens, cities and regions in the decision-making processes, as well as an institutional opening of the political and administrative systems, thus exploring the essential conditions for
