Europamobil aims to reach pupils and university students. 20 students from various European countries ride a bus - the "Europamobil" - to several secondary schools within a different region of Europe each year, offering pupils workshops on European issues. Europamobil is organised by the Genshagen Foundation. It's sponsored by the Regional Government of Brandenburg. Since 2015 the project Europamobil is co-financed by the F.C.Flick Stiftung. It has been organised in Germany and France since 2009, and in Poland since 2012. Since 2020, Europamobil is also funded by the EU's European Solidarity Corps.
20 Students. 11 Schools. More than 3000 Pupils. 1 Bus.

Goal
Our aim is to make European integration tangible for young people and to raise an interest in Europe. Europamobil sensitizes pupils to the opportunities that the European Union offers them to become "mobile" beyond national borders. Through cooperation between students and pupils, young people get to know and understand neighbouring countries and their people better.
Schedule
Each year an international team of students is put together which is trained in a preparatory seminar. Then, within two weeks, they carry out workshops on European topics, each day visiting a different school. At the same time, other parties and associations active at European level will inform the pupils about how they can become mobile in Europe. Finally, there will be a final conference with all participants to present the students' work and to evaluate and reflect on the project.
Patronage
Since 2011 the Prime Minister of Brandenburg, currently Dietmar Woidke, has been the patron of Europamobil.
